Tips from Tracy: Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen
As we discussed on the radio show yesterday, the Environmental Working Group publishes "Dirty Dozen" and "Clean Fifteen" lists annually. The Dirty Dozen is a list of the 12 most pesticide-laden fruits and vegetables. The Clean Fifteen consists of the least pesticide-laden ones. These are great resources for what produce to focus on purchasing as organic (Dirty Dozen) to avoid up to 80% of your potential fruit and veggie pesticide exposure. Enjoy your (CLEAN) veggies!
